The spikey chartreuse foliage looks like it would be tough and prickly, but is actually quite soft and "petable." It is wonderful in landscapes and is an outstanding container plant, where it will fall over the edge of containers. It loves heat and can tolerate dry soils, although average moisture will keep it looking fresh. Lemon Coral is grown for its lovely foliage, although if you are lucky it may bloom as well.

Maintenance Notes:This easy-care annual can take the heat and drought like a champ. It is grown for foliage and is a garden workhorse. See our complete guide to growing sedum.
A tough as nails filler for hanging baskets, troughs, combination containers and landscapes, this beautifully textured succulent is very vigorous and drought tolerant. Its lime green to chartreuse foliage pairs well with other vigorous sun loving varieties.
This one is very pretty, and stacks and layers like a Farrah "faucet hairdew"! The neighbor had a difficult growing situation, a shallow pot, attached to the top of her fence. Nothing would grow there so they installed cheap fake flowers, aaaccckkk!! I offered them this plant and it was amazing! It trailed down 18-inches and looked like a round ball, and had beautiful color.

I ordered 3 Lemon Coral Sedum, after seeing how much they were praised on Garden Answer. They arrived right on time, but unfortunately they came in very poor condition. This rating is more about the packaging and delivery, than the plant itself. Over 50% of each plant was broken off and in shreds. I am trying to doctor them back to their full glory, but it wasn't the best experience for my first PW order.

I bought this plant a month ago at my local big box store. So far, I am loving it. I planted it by itself in a terra cotta pot. It looks terrific! The color of the leaves stands out against the terra cotta. I also like the fact that it can stay outside in my area and provide some year round color.

I planted several 3" wide plants two years ago, and they took off once the weather warmed. They have a tidy, mounded shape and vibrant yellow blooms in Spring. I have received many compliments from neighbors on the beautiful, chartreuse color even in the shade. It has popped up in places I didn't plant it, but it is easy to remove. This is my new favorite ground cover and edging plant. It trails nicely from containers and hanging baskets.

I have purchased several of these sedum since last fall and love them. However, they are now looking dead (where there were blooms). Underneath is still bright green. I don’t know if I should prune the tops or leave them alone. All the information says they don’t need trimming, but they’re not looking good as they are. Does anybody know what I should do? I’m in zone 8b, and they are planted in a west-facing bed that gets lots of sun.

I purchased this plant last year and planted it throughout my garden in the ground, in hanging plants, and containers. I planted it in full sun, part sun, and full shade. It did amazing in all areas. I did notice that in the shade the plant took on a deeper green color (picture grass green). This plant is easy to care for, easy to divide, and all of mine wintered in the ground or in their containers all winter and lived and stayed green with no maintenance or winter watering from me. It thrived in the heat and humidity of Southern summers. It looks amazing with any pop of color but is especially beautiful with the purple verbena. This spring it bloomed with tiny little yellow flowers all over it, it didn't bloom last year. I would use this plant again in any area of my yard, containers, and hanging plants again. My new favorite plant!

Love this plant. Bought one 4 inch pot 2 years ago. Ripped the poor thing into 6 pieces and planted each piece in the pockets of my terra cotta strawberry pot. Initially those 6 sections looked sad but after 2 weeks in sun those babies perked right up and each grew into grapefruit sized balls that draped over the pockets. Looked great all summer. (Had a superbell on top of pot). Pulled all the pieces out in late fall and overwintered inside under grow light. Looked less than perfect by end of winter.but in spring I again pulled into 6 pieces and shoved then into pot pockets.. another steller year. Love this plant. Easy care. Just water and enjoy.

I've grown this for years now and I absolutely love it. Don't over water it, learned that the hard way. I just plant it in pots in ground let nature take care of it. What a work horse. Definitely buying again next year.
