    • Sunbeam has been a favorite of mine for four years. I grow it in hanging baskets and in large stone containers in full sun. It's a plant that never disappoints. The plant is appropriately named as its color makes the sun smile as well as passerbyes. Its leaves have a strong almost shiny green color that brings out and intensifies the yellow blooms. This is a plant that makes one smile. To unleash the sunbeam of this mandevilla to the fullest it is fed weekly with a soluble 20-20-20 fertilizer until the end of September. Water when dry. Pests apparently do not like this plant Who ever named this plant should be congratulated to the fullest as well as those who initially produced it at Suntory.

    • It takes me a bit to get it going once I am able to take it outside in the spring (zone 6a) but it grows quickly and has beautiful flowers.
