Professional Growing Information I have grown this plant two years in a row now, and I'll be getting it again next year! I've grown this in full sun and dappled shade (under a giant, old white oak) and it's performed beautifully in both spots. I fertilize all my annuals once a week or so with water soluble fertilizer, but other than that, this is a low maintenance plant. I can even dig them up half way through the growing season and replant without them skipping a beat! Typically, I use this to fill in a bare spot or add foliage color to my perennial garden beds. This year I replanted three to make a border in a wet, part sun corner of my garden, and I've already had multiple neighbors ask me - is that huge thing coleus?!

Rules of Thumb for Overwintering Plants Indoors:
1. Choose only healthy plants
2. Bring Plants indoors before frost damages foliage
3. Treat for disease and insects before bringing plants indoors
4. Place in bright areas and add humidity using pebble trays or spray bottles
5. Be careful not to over water
6 When active growth starts in spring fertilize and prune as needed
7. Introduce your plants slowly to outdoor conditions in spring
An application of fertilizer or compost on garden beds and regular fertilization of plants in pots will help ensure the best possible performance.

I first bought 2 in 2020. The color and size was amazing! I put it on my permanent "must have" list. In 2021, I bought 3. Splashes of green developed and the overall color was not as vibrant. As hopeful gardener, I bought 2 this year and inspected them carefully for hints of green. None. After 2 weeks, I am very disappointed to say there are even more splashes of green that really take away from the pop of color I am using them for. I have been a loyal proven Winners brand buyer, which is becoming more difficult to find. Lesson learned!

I ordered three Rediculous coleus and they were shipped around 4/18 and they didn’t look very healthy from the day they arrived. We have had unseasonably cold wet weather in zone 6 so I waited for a relatively warm day to plant in a morning sun area. I planted this coleus, another variety of coleus, a sweet potato vine and two other plants in three side by side containers. All the other plants look great but these coleus continued to decline. Finally, when one died and a second one looked almost dead, I contacted customer service and sent pictures of all 3 plants. They offered a 50% refund on one plant and put the blame on me for not planting them soon enough. I am unhappy with their customer service and will not order online in the future. I will take my chances and buy locally.

I grew this plant back in 2018 and it was a wonderful plant that withstood full sun conditions. The bold red coloration was a stand-out for my coleus collection. 5 stars. Fast forward to 2019 and 2020, and the purity and depth of the redness is a bit lacking, and splotches of green appear every few leaves or so. I'm not sure if the vivid red was unsustainable and that reversion is possible, or that I'm required to expose them to higher levels of temperatures in order to get the vivid red. Either way, my experience taught me to overwinter coleus when I find the perfect one.

These add a beautiful pop of color to my mostly dappled front garden in Zone 7b. I especially love that they pair well with my summer flowers but transition seamlessly to partner with mums and pumpkins into the fall.

This was such an impressive plant. It was such a brilliant pop of color in the garden, and despite the dog's apparent insistance to hinder it by knocking it over and breaking it on several occasions, it not only survived but thrived. It amazed me with how tall, vigorous, and vibrant is was. This one definitely sold me on the Colorblaze series. I may just have to try some of the other varieties as well.
