I purchased several Tiara blue peturnias at Home Depot in Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage CA, in addition to a few jazzberry, black cherry and indigo. Its been a week and most of them didnt survive, especially the Tiara Blue and indigo. (Ive had more survive of the others, but not all, whereas all of the Suncal and wave petunias I planted survived.. I'm an experienced gardener. Initially, I thought either the fertilizer I used burned them (Biotone) or they were overwatered. I tried again and purchased several more. Upon arriving home, they were dry and I watered them. The following day when I checked the pots, the bottoms were sitting in water, even though the pots have holes. I wrung out the excess water and planted them, this time using only water soluable fertilizer and using new Miracle Gro potting sol. Again, most of them are dying, even though other petunias and geraniums in the same pots are doing well. I'm not sure if Proven Winners uses a different soil mixture to retain water since these were purchased in desert locations, and that is causing the issue, or if this strain of peturnias has issues. I spent a lot of money on these and am very disappointed.

Wow! This plant provided so much consistent, vibrant color in my flower bed this summer! Incredible plant that spread, but didn't take over. I plan to buy more for next Summer!

The Tiara blue petunia is beautiful - some plants are blossoming well while others within the same grouping are struggling. I’m experiencing only one or two tiny flowers with little plant growth! I used PW sprinkle fertilizer and followed up with PW soluble fertilizer! I refresh this flowerbed for new blossoms every year - I have to assume it’s an issue with this specific new strain! Your advice is appreciated!

These are STUNNING!!!! Quick to bloom and covered with blooms! They almost seem to glow! They are looking lovely paired with lime green accent plants such as creeping Jenny. These are blowing me away!
