    Maintenance Notes:

These plants are versatile working in both sun or shade, which makes them a wonderful unifying plant to use in both sun and shade beds.  Unlike older begonias, these are quite vigorous.  They can tolerate some drought conditions, but will look their best with more consistent moisture and regular feeding.  They love the heat and do not need to be deadheaded to bloom all summer long.  What's not to love!

Strong performance in the sun or in the shade! Here is a new series of begonias from Proven Winners® with large blooms and a strong upright habit that will work well for containers or in the landscape.

    • Planted 6 of these this year and I am a big fan. Not your typical pink wax begonia. The blooms had an iridescent shimmer and the pedicels were bright pink, both unique features I have not seen before. I ordered direct from PW and received very small plants in early spring. After a month or so they were of a good size and continued to grow to about 18x18 in mid September (zone 5). I pulled them to plant fall annuals, but I'm certain they would have looked great right up until frost. I'll be using them again next year.

    • Beautiful plant! Just covered in flowers! Have it in a container on the East side front step. It has been a very cool, rainy spring and this plant is thriving! None of my other annuals have taken off like it,
