So I’ve had this plant for over a year now and it has put on absolutely no growth. It isn’t dead as I can see it has green buds, but even last year it had green buds and didn’t grow an inch. Put out a flower but the plant is still only 3 inches tall

Cascade hydrangeas bloom on old wood, so it's best to avoid pruning them, except to remove any dead wood. These hydrangeas cannot be cut back or trimmed at any time of the year without impacting the bloom for either the current season or the next.
A 2-3" (5-7.6 cm) layer of shredded bark mulch helps shallow-rooted hydrangeas to conserve moisture and keep roots growing vigorously, which ensures the best performance. Fertilize in early spring, after the ground has thawed but before new growth begins, to ensure the best results.

I LOVE this hydrangea. I am growing it in a container to see the weeping habit. It has been in bloom for two months and is still creating new blooms. It is graceful and lovely!

Purchased 2 plants from PW quart size arrived end of April repotted in larger pot to place on patio grew into a nice size plant not one flower on either plant hoping for flowers next year if not will be looking for something else disappointing

Purchased 4 large (3gal) plants for planters in sunny courtyard…. zero flowers…lots of leaves! Extremely disappointing…possibly a problem with a “new” plant product?

Nice looking shrub, really stunning when you see it finished by a professional greenhouse/grower. The plant was covered in clean white blooms when I purchased in April, Tag said full sun but I have noticed the plant tends to wilt a bit after 5 or 6 hours in full sun. My plants rebound quickly once sun passes. I am not sure how this shrub would fair in heat of summer with full afternoon sun. My pair get full morning sun until about 1 pm. I was drawn to the white blooms which the plant had when I purchased it, About 3 weeks after purchasing the blooms have turned a dusty pink hue. I think that might be due to my area having a cold spring season. I am in zone 7 on Capecod. Looking forward to seeing if the shrub will really grow to a 4×4 ft mature plant. The branches are tender and cascade. In my opinion the plant looks best on a wall or higher off the ground. To see it from the side versus looking down on it is a big difference. Much more impressive to highlight the cascading branches, and the soft mounding shape.
