    Features

This everblooming sunflower is built on a well branched bush-like habit that is perfect for the back of the bed, as an annual screen or along a fence. The blooms are about 4” across and do not need to be deadheaded to continue blooming,  but can be groomed for tidiness, and also makes a great cutflower. This plant blooms several weeks longer than similar sunflowers due to its semi indeterminate to determinate habit. Great for pollinators and will pump blooms all season and well into the fall for a great seasonal pop of color.

    Maintenance Notes:

Great in average and rich soils, but also capable of growing in poorer soils and tolerant of dry conditions once established. A controlled release fertilizer application at the time of planting should be sufficient for the summer, however, a second application of controlled release fertilizer applied in mid-summer should increase bloom number and keep the plant producing longer.  A great home cut flower.

    • I purchased these sunflowers for the first time this year. Planted in a spot that has some shade in the afternoon, the plant has flowered beautifully. It is very full with 8 flowers right now and tolerates the Florida heat. We are very happy with this pretty plant.

    • “Suncredible” really is the perfect name for these. Actually it’s an understatement. I put these in my front yard and my neighbors and friends absolutely marveled over them. Once they started blooming, they were covered in bright cheerful flowers ALL summer until hard frost. Bumble bees love them too! Give them space because they get big. My only gripe is that they are very hard to find, here in Maryland. I drove an hour to get them this year, that’s how much I wanted them again! If you have full sun, you MUST get these!!!

    • I was excited to try this variety for the back of my border based on the many good reviews I had read. I ordered the Saturn's but unfortunately received Yellows which wasn't a big deal. The 8 plants I ordered arrived with good packaging and were healthy. I planted them within a week of receipt in a sunny location and I fertilized them regularly. They grew well and bloomed for a while. My primary complaint is that they didn't get as tall as advertised, maybe 30", and the branches weren't very sturdy. As a result, they tended to flop over. They generally stopped blooming in late August which seemed early to me. I'm sure there were things I could have done better but I probably won't be buying these again.

    • Fantastic plant! In zone 7A, getting more than 7 hours of sun, facing southwest. It’s been flowering like mad since I planted it in May. I fertilize every other week. This one does require frequent deadheading—I do it every other day. That’s fine by me, as it can handle the long afternoon summer sun without missing a beat. I love to see the cheery yellow flowers bobbing in the breeze every day,

    • These are thriving in the midst of our Texas heat wave (we are Zone 9a). I planted these in mid-late June (not the best timing on my part) but they were the only flower I could think of with some height that had a fighting chance that time of year to replace some shrubs that just couldn't handle our climate. Wish I had started with these as they are so beautiful and fun and happy in their sunny yellow color. Best of all they are easy going with minimal water requirements even in drought conditions.

    • This is the best sunflower. Never out of bloom and seems to resist disease, bugs and animals. The drought never bothered it either. Something I will have in all my gardens. And the ones I plant for clients.

    • NJ grower. I have grown this plant in the garden soil and in containers. I have found that it does best in the garden soil and doesn't need pruning at all. In the garden soil it was equivalent to a small bush about 3/4 ft high and wide for one plant. I have also grown both varieties in full sun containers and they do not get as large like the plants in the ground. They grow all season all the way up to Halloween. I have pruned them to keep a rounded ball shape. I found mine at a nursery I go to every season.

    • Zone 9b Northern CA. Great plant! Bought the one gallon size and planted it in early April. It really took off in June and lasted until early November. It brightened up our back border. Very happy and planning on buying more for next year.

    • My Suncredible’s put on quite a show this year. They are still bursting with blooms although, with the amount of rain we’ve received the stems have fallen. I brought two and they’ve reached about 5ft wide and 4 ft tall. Ordered directly from PW and they came packaged very nicely.
