    Features

Enjoy all the glory of a burning bush without any worry about invasiveness. Fire Ball Seedless euonymus is crimson in fall and seedless all year long. It is the only sterile, non-invasive burning bush on the market! Its mature size is very manageable, and like its contemporary fellows, it responds well to a trim. It is best used as a specimen or hedge.

    • I love burning bushes for fall color but after an old one in our yard died, I learned that standard burning bushes are considered highly invasive (even though it has never been a problem where we live). However, this "Fire ball seedless" variety promised the beauty of the original without the invasiveness, so I ordered one. The problem I've had is that after three years this thing just won't grow, i.e.: get bigger. I will give this plant two stars for staying alive, but it's still only about 6 inches tall and shows no signs of further growth despite a sunny location and regular watering. I have heard deer will feed on burning bush, yet a mature burning bush not far away in the yard has had no signs of deer chewing on it. So all in all, this purchase feels like a waste of money (almost $42 with shipping two years ago). I didn't expect it to turn into a big plant overnight, but after two years I am tired of seeing no progress.
