Job Summary

Provide support necessary to maintaining equipment that is crucial to the quality floral production including the equipment and both our Loudon and Pembroke facilities. Ensure all equipment is operating in a fully functioning capacity, and that both locations are maintained.

Essential Functions

  1. Assist in general maintenance to ensure facilities remain operational
  2. Conduct visual inspection and diagnostic testing on malfunctioning equipment.
  3. Review blueprints and schematics to conduct repairs as needed or specific equipment.
  4. Coordinate with maintenance team to assist in installation of new production, irrigation, and greenhouse equipment.
  5. Utilize equipment including but not limited to hand tools, power tools, electric measurement tools, etc.
  6. Plan, assemble, install, inspect, maintain and repair of electrical devices, systems or components.
  7. Research, provide recommendations, quote, plan and execute upgrades to facilities and production equipment ensuring they meet current Proven Winner standards.
  8. Troubleshoot and repair facilities and production equipment.
  9. Maintain and repair greenhouse facilities as needed.
  10. Install wiring, water, and irrigation systems, cooling systems, etc.
  11. Install, service, and repair boilers, burners, heaters, hot water systems, cooling systems, etc.
  12. Assist in the operation of wood burning/ biomass systems.
  13. Install, service, and repair plumbing related equipment and systems.
  14. Maintain preventive maintenance schedules. Track and document progress.
  15. Educate end users on how to use and operate all equipment and applications. Develop and conduct other training as assigned.
  16. Participate in site housekeeping; ensuring all housing units are operational

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Possess advanced knowledge and experience on electrical, plumbing and mechanical competencies.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management, planning, attention to detail, organization, decision making and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to create and provide accurate quotes for assigned upgrades and tasks.
  • Must be able to multi-task, meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Required to be on rotating schedule (off hours and/or weekends) to respond to events, emergencies, and incidents.
  • Possess professional and effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees and management to complete assigned tasks in a timely fashion.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • 2-4 years of Field Experience, Trade School or Apprenticeship
  • Active Journeyman’s/ Masters Licensure
  • Strong knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and relevant safety standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

Benefits and Compensation

This range reflects the expected compensation for candidates who meet the listed qualifications. Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and internal equity.

Hourly wage: $28.00 – $33.00 per hour.
